They work in all weather conditions. Due to the increased iron and copper content, heat resistance is optimized, and the lifespan is extended compared to purely organic pads. Semi-metallic disc brake pads have a wide range of applications and are suitable for e-bike, cross-country, marathon, and urban use, as well as for enduro, freeride, and downhill rides where the brake is not dragged for too long, thus preventing maximum heat build-up.
